Yes, you can use QuickBooks Online (QBO) to send FedNow Requests for Payment (RfP) to customers or vendors, allowing them to pay you through the FedNow infrastructure in real-time.

To use QBO to send RfP FedNow Requests to Pay, follow these steps:

Log in to your QuickBooks Online account and go to the "Sales" tab.

Select "Invoices" and create a new invoice or select an existing one.

In the payment options section, click on "Add payment method" and select "FedNow Requests for Payment" from the dropdown menu.

Enter the payment amount and any other necessary details, such as the payment due date and payment description.

Click on the "Send" button to send the payment request to your customer.

Once your customer receives the request, they can use the FedNow infrastructure to send the payment to your QuickBooks account in real-time.

After the payment has been received, you can mark the invoice as paid in your QuickBooks account.

It is important to note that both you and your customer must have FedNow-enabled accounts through your respective banks or payment processors in order to use FedNow RfP for payments. Additionally, not all financial institutions support RfP FedNow payments yet, so you will need to check with your bank or payment processor to ensure that they support this payment method. Finally, fees may apply for using FedNow Requests for Payment, so you will need to check with your bank or payment processor for more information on any associated fees.
